SELF-SUPPORTING SUBSCRIBER CABLE WITH SUPPORTING STRAND

TK 33 U

APLICATION

Self-supporting subsciber cable with supporting strand is being applied to secondary telephone network lines. It is laid on support at the ground and other points of support as well.
Supporting strand consists of galvanized steel wires and at a normal span withstands its own cable weight with additional loading as wind , snow, ice,etc.
Permissible temperature ranges :
At laying from -5 up to + 50° C
Before and after laying from -30 up to +50° C
Max. effective voltage is 150 V a.c. and 210 V d.c.
The use of this cable in power purposesis not permitted.

Make -up

Copper conductor 0.6 and 0.8 mmm dia.
Compact PE insulation , 0.4 and 0.45 mm nominal thickness.
4 insulated conductors twisted to star quads.
Cable core consists of concentric or group twisted quads.
Supporting strand is set parallely with cable core.
PE black sheath contains cable core and supporting rope and shaped to figure 8.
