Construction:
Conductor: Solid stranded copper or aluminium conductor.
Core: Conductor insulated with paper tapes, screened and impregnated with normal or semi-hard compound.
Sheat: Seamless lead or lead alloy tube separately for each core. Sheat protected with bitumen cover and impregnated paper or thermoplastic tape.
Cable Core: Separate lead and protected cores laid-up, interestice filled up with impregnated jute.
Inner protection: Impregnated jute with bitumen covers.
Mechanical protection: Round steel galvanized wire.
Outer protection: Impregnated jute with bitumen covers.

Application:
In industrial and mine plants, at places where greater mechanical strains may be experienced. It is applied for direct burial into ground, as well as for sub-water laying (sea, rivers). NPZO 23 type is applied for inclined or vertical installations.
