Application
Circular multipole sealed connectors Series 02 are foreseen for the application in telecommunication and electronic units and systems for outdoor operation at unfavourable ambient conditions (humidity, quick temperature changes, vibration, etc.). They are applied for electrical interconnection of unit components, units supplied with multicore cables and their continuations.
They meet requirements of IEC 130-4

Shell
Chromate plated aluminium alloy in grey -olive colour.
Depending on connector application, shell can have the following shapes.

For panel mounting:
A - with square flange for mounting without adapter.
B - with square flange for mounting - with adapter.
G - Connector adapter for nut mounting.

For cable mounting:
E - for cable termination (relesed connector)
F - for cable continuation

All grades are performed in 4 sizes:
16, 18, 20 and 22 and can be mounted as connector with male or female contacts.

Insulator
Insulator consists of 2 parts: the front part made of polychloroprene and the rear of diallylphtalate.
For the purspose of prevention of mismating with adjacent connector of the same size and the samo contact arrangement, besides normal position, insulator can be turned into shell at angle W, X, Y, Z. It is recommended when possible the use of normal position.

Contacts
Silver or gold plated copper alloy. Connection terminations are for colder jointing.

Adapter
Cable sheath sealing and disengagement of connection joints is provvided with cable adapter K grade.

Climate class
53/085/21

Caps
For the puropose of protection of unmated connector against dirt, water or mechanical damage it is used a cap which is ordered separately.
It is manufactured in two shapes:
A - for shell A, B, F and G grade
B - for shell E grade

Sealing
Pressure difference 105 Pa
Air penetration: max 16 cm3/h

Service life
500 cycles (10 cycles per minute)
